The Lions (4-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Alief Hastings (Houston, TX). The Bears come into the 6A Region III District 20 challenge with a 3-11 record. In their last challenge, Alief Hastings dropped by Fulshear (Fulshear, TX), 50-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Lumberton Raiders (Lumberton, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Galena Park will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record.
