In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Pahranagat Valley Panthers basketball team scored a close 44-39 triumph over the Amplus Academy Archers.

The Panthers (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Lund (Lund, NV). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Lund nipped White Pine (Ely, NV), 40-32, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Archers confront the Escalante Moquis (Escalante, UT) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Amplus Academy will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Moquis go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 68-40 league loss to Bryce Valley (Tropic, UT).
