Michigan High School Basketball - Capac bested by Bentley
December 20, 2024: Burton, MI 48509 Bentley Bulldogs (Burton, MI) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Capac Chiefs (Capac, MI), 68-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Bentley advances its record to 3-4 on the year. The Bulldogs host Atherton (Burton, MI) to meet the Wolverines in a Genesee Area - Red match on Friday, December 27. The Wolverines enter the match with a record of 1-5.
The Chiefs now own a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marlette for a Greater Thumb - East match on Wednesday, January 8. Capac will meet a Red Raiders squad coming off a 59-23 league loss to Harbor Beach (Harbor Beach, MI). The Red Raiders record now stands at 2-5.
