South Carolina High School Basketball - Dorman nips Boyd County
December 20, 2024: Roebuck, SC 29376 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Dorman Cavaliers (Roebuck, SC) and the visiting Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY), observed Dorman's basketball team edge Boyd County by a margin of 65-61.
The Cavaliers (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Alexander (Douglasville, GA). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Alexander edged St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC), 64-44, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Dobyns-Bennett Indians (Kingsport, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Boyd County will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 11-1 record after their 85-60 non-league win over Bluefield (Bluefield, WV).
