In Friday's non-league contest, the host Riverside Ram basketball team scored a close 73-66 triumph over the Broad Run Spartans.

The Ram (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against St. Augustine Prep (Richland, NJ). The Hermits go into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, St. Augustine Prep was tipped by Eastside (Camden, NJ), 43-37, in a non-league contest.
