December 20, 2024: Byron Center, MI 49315 Zion Christian Mountaineers (Byron Center, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Calhoun Christian Cougars (Battle Creek, MI), 64-22 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Zion Christian upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Mountaineers host Lee (Wyoming, MI) to face the Legends in a Alliance match on Tuesday, January 7. The Legends enter the match with a record of 1-6.
The Cougars now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Buffalo for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. Calhoun Christian will face a Bison squad coming off a 61-46 non-league loss to Buchanan (Buchanan, MI). The Bison record now stands at 5-2.
