Oregon High School Basketball - Parkrose defeats Central
December 20, 2024: Independence, OR 97351 The Parkrose Broncos (Portland, OR) basketball were winner over the host Central Panthers (Independence, OR), 54-44 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Broncos now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to McMinnville for a non-league bout on Friday, December 27. Parkrose will play a Grizzlies team coming off a 51-48 non-league loss to McNary (Keizer, OR). The Grizzlies record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Central falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host South Albany (Albany, OR) to play the Redhawks in a 5A Mid-Willamette bout on Friday, January 3. The Redhawks go into the bout with a record of 3-2. South Albany lost 72-53 in their recent non-league bout against Ridgeview (Redmond, OR)
