December 20, 2024: Clyde, KS 66938 Clifton-Clyde Eagles (Clyde, KS) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Rock Creek Mustangs (St. George, KS), 67-51 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Clifton-Clyde advances its record to 3-2 on the year. The Eagles host Centralia (Centralia, KS) to face the Panthers in a Twin Valley match on Friday, January 3. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 2-3. Centralia won 67-38 in their recent league match against Valley Heights (Blue Rapids, KS)
The Mustangs now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Concordia for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Rock Creek will face a Panthers squad coming off a 59-45 league win over Marysville (Marysville, KS). The Panthers record now stands at 5-0.
