Florida High School Basketball - Seminole Ridge holds off Coconut Creek

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Seminole Ridge Hawks basketball team scored a close 49-45 triumph over the Coconut Creek Cougars.

The Hawks (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Santaluces (Lantana, FL). The Chiefs go into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Santaluces nipped Riviera Beach Preparatory and Achievement Academy (Riviera Beach, FL), 45-44, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars confront the North Miami Pioneers (North Miami, FL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Coconut Creek will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Pioneers go into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 56-44 non-league win over Westland Hialeah (Hialeah, FL).
