The Midland Legacy Rebels basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Cooper Cougars to 45 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rebels now possess a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Centennial for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. Midland Legacy will confront a Spartans team coming off a 63-51 league loss to Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 14-5.

With the loss, Cooper falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Cougars host Levelland (Levelland, TX) to confront the Lobos in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 31. The Lobos go into the game with a record of 10-8. Levelland won 55-53 in their recent non-league game against Lubbock Christian (Lubbock, TX)
