Ohio High School Basketball - Covington Catholic victorious over St. Vincent-St. Mary
December 20, 2024: Akron, OH 44303 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Covington Catholic Colonels basketball team scored a good 83-63 triumph over the St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish.
The Colonels (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ballard Memorial (Barlow, KY). The Bombers go into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Ballard Memorial was topped by Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY), 82-59, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Fighting Irish battle the Archbishop Moeller Fighting Crusaders (Cincinnati, OH) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 21. St. Vincent-St. Mary will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Fighting Crusaders go into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 69-45 non-league win over Hughes (Cincinnati, OH).
