The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Tri Titans (Straughn, IN) and the visiting Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN), observed Tri's basketball team overwhelm Cowan by a score of 69-38.

The Titans (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Union City (Union City, IN). The Indians come into the Tri-Eastern challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Union City trounced Union (Modoc, IN), 63-33, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Blackhawks encounter the Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Cowan will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 83-49 league loss to Sheridan (Sheridan, IN).
