December 20, 2024: Upper Marlboro, MD 20774 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Riverdale Baptist Crusaders (Upper Marlboro, MD) and the visiting DuVal Tigers (Lanham, MD), observed Riverdale Baptist's basketball team overwhelm DuVal by a score of 66-27.
The Crusaders (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against St. John's (Washington, DC). The Cadets come into the non-league challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, St. John's trounced Takoma Academy (Takoma Park, MD), 66-43, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Northern Patriots (Owings, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 21. DuVal will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 70-46 non-league win over Patuxent (Lusby, MD).
