New York High School Basketball - Fairport crushes Franklin
December 20, 2024: Rochester, NY 14621 The Fairport Red Raiders (Fairport, NY) basketball crushed the host Franklin Bulldogs (Rochester, NY), 84-44 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Red Raiders now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Timon-St. Jude for a non-league bout on Friday, December 27. Fairport will play a Tigers team coming off a 81-51 league win over St. Mary's (Lancaster, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Franklin falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to McQuaid Jesuit (Rochester, NY) to play the Knights in a Section 5 Rochester City - Upper bout on Monday, December 30. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-4. McQuaid Jesuit lost 63-47 in their recent non-league bout against Aquinas Institute (Rochester, NY)
