December 20, 2024: Rudyard, MT 59540 North Star Knights (Rudyard, MT) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Hays-Lodge Pole Thunder Birds (Hays, MT), 75-43 in a league match.
With the victory, North Star advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Knights travel to Box Elder (Box Elder, MT) to meet the Bears in a C District 9 match on Saturday, December 21. The Bears enter the match with a record of 1-0.
The Thunder Birds now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chester-Joplin-Inverness for a C District 9 match on Saturday, December 21. Hays-Lodge Pole will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 62-37 non-league win over Highwood (Highwood, MT). The Hawks record now stands at 2-0.
