The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hughesville Spartans (Hughesville, PA) and the visiting Milton Black Panthers (Milton, PA), observed Hughesville's basketball team knock off Milton by a score of 61-50.

The Spartans (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA). The Tigers come into the Heartland III challenge with a 3-2 record.
