The Minford Falcons (Minford, OH) basketball toppled the host Ironton Fighting Tigers (Ironton, OH), 79-68 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Falcons now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to New Hope Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Minford will play a Statesmen team coming off a 65-27 non-league win over Liberty Christian Academy (Pataskala, OH). The Statesmen record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Ironton falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Fighting tigers host Greenup County (Greenup, KY) to play the Musketeers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 21. The Musketeers go into the bout with a record of 1-4.
