The Murrieta Valley Nighthawks basketball team scored 72 points and limited the host Linfield Christian Lions to 45 in the Nighthawks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Nighthawks now possess a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Margarita for a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. Murrieta Valley will confront a Eagles team coming off a 61-57 non-league loss to De La Salle (Concord, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-1.
