In Friday's non-league test, the West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK) basketball squad got by the visiting Mid-Pacific Institute Owls (Honolulu, HI), by a score of 64-63.

Next, the Eagles encounter the University Laboratory School Junior Rainbows (Honolulu, HI) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 23. West Anchorage will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Junior Rainbows come into the test with a 7-3 record after their 86-49 non-league loss to Paul VI (Chantilly, VA).

The Owls (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Le Jardin Academy (Kailua, HI). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Le Jardin Academy held off Hawaiian Mission Academy (Honolulu, HI), 63-32, in a league test.
