Illinois High School Basketball - St. Joseph-Ogden can't get by Normal University
December 20, 2024: Normal, IL 61761 Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL), 45-44 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Normal University advances its record to 7-3 on the year. The Pioneers travel to MacArthur (Decatur, IL) to meet the Generals in a Central State Eight match on Saturday, December 21. The Generals enter the match with a record of 3-3.
The Spartans now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Beecher for a non-league match on Saturday, December 21. St. Joseph-Ogden will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 55-44 non-league win over Herscher (Herscher, IL). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-3.
