The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Tippecanoe Valley Vikings (Akron, IN) and the host Peru Tigers (Peru, IN), observed Tippecanoe Valley's basketball team knock off Peru by a score of 58-41.

The Vikings (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Trinity Lutheran (Seymour, IN). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Trinity Lutheran prevailed over Edinburgh (Edinburgh, IN), 52-51, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Peru falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Lewis Cass (Walton, IN) to play the Kings in a Three Rivers bout on Saturday, December 21. The Kings go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Lewis Cass lost 40-37 in their recent league bout against Whitko (South Whitley, IN)
