The Scotus Shamrocks basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Pierce Bluejays to 40 in the Shamrocks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Shamrocks now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Clarkson/Leigh for a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 28. Scotus will battle a Patriots team coming off a 55-22 non-league loss to Howells-Dodge (Howells, NE). The Patriots record now stands at 1-5.

In their next game, the Bluejays battle the South Sioux City Cardinals (South Sioux City, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Pierce will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 67-49 non-league loss to Columbus (Columbus, NE).
