December 20, 2024: Myrtle Creek, OR 97457 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the South Umpqua Lancers (Myrtle Creek, OR) and the visiting Rainier Columbians (Rainier, OR), saw South Umpqua's basketball team crush Rainier by a tally of 53-31.
The Lancers now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Douglas for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 2.
With the loss, Rainier falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Columbians travel to Rogue River (Rogue River, OR) to play the Chieftains in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 21. The Chieftains go into the bout with a record of 0-7. Rogue River lost 43-35 in their recent league bout against Glide (Glide, OR)
