With the victory, Ruston advances its record to 2-3 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Airline (Bossier City, LA) to face the Vikings in a non-league match on Thursday, December 26. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 4-8. Airline won 55-52 in their recent non-league match against Ringgold (Ringgold, LA)
The Bulldogs now own a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Natchitoches Central for a non-league match on Monday, December 23. Red River will face a Chiefs squad coming off a 47-40 non-league win over Lake Charles College Prep (Lake Charles, LA). The Chiefs record now stands at 9-5.
