December 20, 2024: Topeka, KS 66619 The Washburn Rural Blues (Topeka, KS) basketball crushed the visiting Barstow Knights (Kansas City, MO), 82-22 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Blues now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Lawrence Free State for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 4. Washburn Rural will play a Firebirds team coming off a 48-43 league win over Shawnee Mission West (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Firebirds record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Barstow falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to St. Pius X (Kansas City, MO) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, January 24. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-1.
