December 20, 2024: Greensboro, NC 27409 Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA), 47-18 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Northwest Guilford upgrades its record to 6-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC) to face the War Eagles in a non-league match on Thursday, December 26. The War Eagles enter the match with a record of 2-3. Gray Collegiate Academy won 55-34 in their recent non-league match against Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC)
The Wildcats now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Discovery for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. Apalachee will face a Titans squad coming off a 69-59 non-league win over North Atlanta (Atlanta, GA). The Titans record now stands at 8-5.
