The Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils (Bellwood, PA) basketball edged the host Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA), 54-52 in Friday's league bout.

The Blue Devils now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Tyrone for a Laurel Highlands bout on Friday, December 27. Bellwood-Antis will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 50-35 non-league win over Juniata Valley (Alexandria, PA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Penns Valley Area falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Rams host Bedford (Bedford, PA) to play the Bisons in a Laurel Highlands bout on Friday, January 3. The Bisons go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Bedford lost 37-32 in their recent league bout against Richland (Johnstown, PA)
