Maryland High School Basketball - Chopticon thwarts King's Christian Academy
December 20, 2024: Callaway, MD 20620 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) and the host King's Christian Academy Eagles (Callaway, MD), observed Chopticon's basketball team knock off King's Christian Academy by a score of 46-33.
The Braves (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bowie (Bowie, MD). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Bowie dropped by Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD), 51-37, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Southern Maryland Christian Academy Mustangs (White Plains, MD) in a Maryland Independent challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. King's Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
