California High School Basketball - Etna holds off Point Arena
December 20, 2024: Point Arena, CA 95468 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Etna Lions basketball team scored a close 42-40 win over the Point Arena Pirates.
The Lions (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Willits (Willits, CA). The Wolverines come into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Willits edged South Fork (Miranda, CA), 46-23, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Pirates encounter the Tomales Braves (Tomales, CA) in a North Central III challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Point Arena will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 44-42 league win over Anderson Valley (Boonville, CA).
