The Groton Tigers basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting West Central Trojans to 35 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Redfield for a A Region 1 game on Saturday, January 4. Groton will confront a Pheasants team coming off a 41-25 non-league win over Aberdeen Christian (Aberdeen, SD). The Pheasants record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, West Central falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD) to confront the Chargers in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 4-0.
