December 20, 2024: LaPlace, LA 70068 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) and the visiting Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA), observed St. Charles Catholic's basketball team overcome Haynes Academy by a score of 36-25.
The Comets (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Northshore (Slidell, LA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Northshore defeated Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA), 42-39, in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 59-39 non-league win over St. Mary's Academy (New Orleans, LA).
