Oregon High School Basketball - Huntington knocks off Pilot Rock
December 20, 2024: Pilot Rock, OR 97868 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Huntington Locomotives basketball team scored a good 41-31 win over the Pilot Rock Rockets.
The Locomotives (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Pine Eagle (Halfway, OR). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Pine Eagle defeated Griswold (Helix, OR), 39-31, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rockets battle the Joseph Eagles (Joseph, OR) in a 1A Old Oregon contest, on Saturday, December 21. Pilot Rock will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 49-38 non-league win over Sherman (Moro, OR).
