South Dakota High School Basketball - Kadoka crushes Newell
December 20, 2024: Kadoka, SD 57543 The Kadoka Kougars (Kadoka, SD) basketball crushed the visiting Newell Irrigators (Newell, SD), 61-28 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Kougars now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Lead-Deadwood for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 4. Kadoka will play a Golddiggers team coming off a 53-22 non-league loss to Sundance (Sundance, WY). The Golddiggers record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Newell falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Irrigators travel to Lemmon (Lemmon, SD) to play the Cowboys in a B Region 8 bout on Friday, January 3. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Lemmon won 46-36 in their recent non-league bout against Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] (Elgin, ND)
