Maryland High School Basketball - Mt. Zion Prep Academy knocks off Valor Christian

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors (Lanham, MD) and the visiting Valor Christian Eagles (Highlands Ranch, CO), observed Mt. Zion Prep Academy's basketball team overcome Valor Christian by a margin of 61-52.

The Warriors (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Christ the King (Middle Village, NY). The Royals come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Christ the King defeated Sage Hill (Newport Beach, CA), 65-53, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the George Rogers Clark Cardinals (Winchester, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Valor Christian will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 61-45 non-league loss to Christ the King (Middle Village, NY).
