The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Socastee Braves (Myrtle Beach, SC) and the host Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins (Orangeburg, SC), observed Socastee's basketball team overcome Orangeburg-Wilkinson by a margin of 55-41.

The Braves (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Fort Dorchester dropped by Goose Creek (Goose Creek, SC), 58-51, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bruins battle the Bethune-Bowman Mohawks (Orangeburg, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 3.
