Oklahoma High School Basketball - Warner trounced by Sequoyah
December 20, 2024: Tahlequah, OK 74464 Sequoyah Indians (Tahlequah, OK) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Warner Eagles (Warner, OK), 65-34 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Sequoyah advances its record to 7-0 on the year. The Indians host Oktaha (Oktaha, OK) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Saturday, December 21. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 7-3. Oktaha won 68-42 in their recent non-league match against McLain Science & Tech (Tulsa, OK)
The Eagles now own a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Okay for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Warner will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 49-41 non-league loss to Pawhuska (Pawhuska, OK). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-3.
