The South Platte Blue Knights basketball squad (Big Springs, NE), was nudged 46-41 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Wauneta-Palisade Broncos (Wauneta, NE)

With the victory, Wauneta-Palisade advances its record to 4-3 on the year. The Broncos travel to Bertrand (Bertrand, NE) to meet the Vikings in a non-league battle on Friday, January 3. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 3-3.

The Blue Knights now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perkins County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 31. South Platte will meet a Plainsmen squad coming off a 46-40 non-league loss to Dundy County-Stratton (Benkelman, NE). The Plainsmen record now stands at 1-5.
