Georgia High School Basketball - Stratford Academy knocks off Southland Academy
December 20, 2024: Macon, GA 31220 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Stratford Academy Eagles (Macon, GA) and the visiting Southland Academy Raiders (Americus, GA), observed Stratford Academy's basketball team overcome Southland Academy by a margin of 51-33.
The Eagles (9-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Twiggs County (Jeffersonville, GA). The Cobras come into the non-league challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Twiggs County dropped by Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA), 57-17, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the Robert Toombs Christian Academy Crusaders (Lyons, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Southland Academy will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 45-33 non-league loss to Westfield School (Perry, GA).
