Washington High School Basketball - Sunnyside overwhelms East Valley
December 20, 2024: Yakima, WA 98901 The Sunnyside Grizzlies basketball team scored 68 points and limited the host East Valley Red Devils to 40 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Friday.
The Grizzlies now have a 3-3 record. They play next when they host West Valley for a non-league game on Friday, January 10. Sunnyside will confront a Rams team coming off a 50-28 non-league win over Davis (Yakima, WA). The Rams record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, East Valley falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Red devils host Prosser (Prosser, WA) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 5-0. Prosser won 71-8 in their recent non-league game against Othello (Othello, WA)
