Colorado High School Basketball - The Academy trounced by Poudre
December 20, 2024: Fort Collins, CO 80521 Poudre Impalas (Fort Collins, CO) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting The Academy Wildcats (Westminster, CO), 38-12 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Poudre advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Impalas travel to Greeley West (Greeley, CO) to meet the Spartans in a match on Tuesday, January 7. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 3-0. Greeley West won 55-44 in their recent non-league match against Niwot (Niwot, CO)
The Wildcats now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Castle View for a non-league match on Saturday, December 21. The Academy will meet a Sabercats squad coming off a 48-31 non-league loss to Green Mountain (Lakewood, CO). The Sabercats record now stands at 0-2.
