New York High School Ice Hockey - Iona Prep gets by Notre Dame
December 20, 2024: New Rochelle, NY 10804 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Iona Prep Gaels (New Rochelle, NY) and the visiting Notre Dame Green Knights (West Haven, CT), witnessed Iona Prep's ice hockey team defeat Notre Dame by a score of 6-4.
The Gaels (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute (Buffalo, NY). The Marauders come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute by McQuaid Jesuit (Rochester, NY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Green Knights battle the Seton Hall Prep Pirates (West Orange, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Notre Dame will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 league win over La Salle College (Wyndmoor, PA).
