Maryland High School Basketball - Huntingtown holds off Annapolis
December 20, 2024: Huntingtown, MD 20639 The Huntingtown Hurricanes basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Annapolis Panthers to 47 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Friday.
The Hurricanes now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Crofton for a non-league game on Monday, January 6. Huntingtown will confront a team coming off a 58-50 non-league loss to Indian Creek (Crownsville, MD). The record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Annapolis falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. The Cavaliers go into the game with a record of 2-0.
