Maryland High School Basketball - Chopticon holds off King's Christian Academy
December 20, 2024: Callaway, MD 20620 The Chopticon Braves basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host King's Christian Academy Eagles to 55 in the Braves non-league triumph on Friday.
The Braves now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Gwynn Park for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. Chopticon will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 59-38 league win over Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North (Laurel, MD). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, King's Christian Academy falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 0-0.
