Illinois High School Basketball - Marmion can't hold off De La Salle
December 20, 2024: Aurora, IL 60502 De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL), 34-31 in a league match.
With the victory, De La Salle upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Meteors host Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL) to face the Roadrunners in a non-league match on Saturday, December 21. The Roadrunners enter the match with a record of 0-1.
The Cadets now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kaneland for a non-league match on Monday, January 6.
