Florida High School Basketball - Lecanto overwhelms Dunnellon
December 20, 2024: Lecanto, FL 34461 The Lecanto Panthers basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Dunnellon Tigers to 24 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now have a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Weeki Wachee for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. Lecanto will confront a Hornets team coming off a 70-35 league loss to Hudson (Hudson, FL). The Hornets record now stands at 5-8.
With the loss, Dunnellon falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to West Port (Ocala, FL) to confront the Wolf Pack in a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. The Wolf Pack go into the game with a record of 0-7.
