California High School Soccer - Segerstrom nudges Venice
December 20, 2024: Santa Ana, CA 92704 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Segerstrom Jaguars (Santa Ana, CA) and the visiting Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA), saw Segerstrom's soccer squad hold off Venice by a count of 1-0.
The Jaguars (3-8) will now prepare for their battle against Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA). The Dons enter the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Santa Barbara was edged by Pacifica (Oxnard, CA), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Gondoliers confront the Banning Pilots (Wilmington, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, December 21. Venice will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Pilots enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Lakewood (Lakewood, CA).
