The Matadors now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Cibola for a non-league bout on Monday, January 5. Sandia will play a Cougars squad coming off a 40-30 non-league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Cougars record now stands at 2-3.
The Hornets (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Ravens come into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Rio Grande was routed by Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 33-20, in a non-league test.
