With the win, Daniel upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Lions host Wren (Piedmont, SC) to encounter the Hurricanes in a AAA Region I bout on Wednesday, January 2. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Wren lost 60-42 in their recent non-league bout against Hanna (Anderson, SC)

Next up, the Cardinals encounter the Carolina Academy Trojans (Greenville, SC) in a AA Region I bout, on Friday, January 4. Landrum will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 52-35 league win over Pendleton (Pendleton, SC).
