The Welsh Greyhounds basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Hathaway Hornets to 67 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sulphur for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 30. Welsh will meet a Golden Tors team coming off a 53-47 non-league loss to Westlake (Westlake, LA). The Golden Tors record now stands at 7-7.

The Hornets (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against South Beauregard (Longville, LA). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, South Beauregard was outscored by Johnson Bayou (Cameron, LA), 81-66, in a non-league contest.
