Illinois High School Basketball - Winnebago fells Lena-Winslow
December 21, 2021: Winnebago, IL 61088 Winnebago Indians (Winnebago, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lena-Winslow Panthers (Lena, IL), 49-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Winnebago upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Indians host North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL) to clash with the Vikings in a Big Northern bout on Wednesday, December 22. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 4-6. North Boone lost 59-30 in their recent non-league bout against Belvidere (Belvidere, IL)
Next up, the Panthers clash with the Orion Chargers (Orion, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 27. Lena-Winslow will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 48-34 non-league loss to Knoxville (Knoxville, IL).
